Automatic Network Error Detection

Use HAR data collected during test runs to automatically detect backend and API issues that may not be visible in the UI.

Key assumptions:

• Detect failed requests and HTTP 5xx responses automatically.

• Focus on first-party fetch and XHR traffic; ignore common third-party services by default.

• Link network errors to the test step where they occurred.

• Allow critical network errors to fail the test, or collect them and fail the run at the end.

• Show detected issues in the test report with request URL, method, status, duration, and failure reason.

Result: tests can fail not only when the UI breaks, but also when the tested flow completes with hidden backend errors (depending on the configuration).
