I have no insights of the technical limitations that your team might encounter with such demands, but I just thought it to be nice to have.
Currently I am testing a back-office webapplication and trying to cover many use-cases that often require setting-up (and cleaning-up) data on customers, invoices, products and such. Many “big” setup and cleanup steps are comprised of several '“mini” steps that are registered as components, but which are actually used elsewhere in many different ways.
The idea behind my feature request was to be able to organize these “mini” components into “supra” components and reuses these latest at will.
Provided of course we don’t mess with test variables and try to pass them from micro to macro and such, as I guess it would easily become a mess.

That sounds reasonable. Maybe we need to limit the maximum nesting depth. I will definitely discuss this with our UX expert. Thanks!

I approved this feature, but nested components introduce complexity and a lot of corner cases, so this may not be the best idea.
